Australia Remembers

Australia Remembers is an online project by charity organisation Australia Remembers Ltd.  The project involves the creation of personalised online Anzac Journals for each Gallipoli and World War One Anzac and for each Veteran who served in World War Two.

The aim is for each journal to become a living, growing tribute to the individuals.  To support this aim, members of the public are able to add their own personal stories, research information, or photographs to an Anzac's journal.  There is also the opportunity for members of the community to become a moderator for a particular journal.

The Australia Remembers website simplifies family history military research by bringing together in the one place, key service information from both the Australian War Memorial and the National Archives of Australia websites.  From within each Anzac's journal, you can click through to additional information held in each of these repositories.
