Reciprocal Membership

Reciprocal membership is available to those who are members of another NSW or ACT Library Service and who work or reside within the STLC area.

Conditions of Reciprocal Membership

If you are:

  • A permanent resident in another NSW or ACT Local Government Area and a member of the Library Service within that area
  • able to provide two forms of proof of identification, one of which must be the current membership card from your home Library Service and the other from the list below, e.g. current Driver's Licence showing your home address.

Upon presentation of your home library membership, Library staff will check this with your home library service.

As a RECIPROCAL MEMBER, you will have the same rights and privileges as other members who live within the Local Government Areas incorporating the Southern Tablelands Library Co-Operative.

Proof of name & address to be in the form of ONE of the following:

  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
  • Council Rates or Water Notice
  • Residential Tenancy Agreement
  • Commonwealth or State Electoral Card
  • NSW Photo ID Card
  • Parent or Guardian's Library Membership (for under 18s only)

Or TWO of the following:

  • Electricity Account
  • Gas Account
  • Centrelink Pensioner Concession Card
  • Centrelink Health Care Card
  • Telephone Account
  • 2 x Official rent receipts from Real Estate Agent
  • Bank Statement
  • Letter from your employer in our LGA
  • Letter from your School/Education Institution in our LGA

If you do not meet the conditions listed above you may be eligible to for Temporary Membership or Standard Membership
